History: 2way Brewing is a microbrewery producing the "highest quality handmade beers in the Hudson Valley." They stand for good beer, with good people, in a good place. That's the "2way way."

Food Service: Yes, but we did not order anything.

The Scenario

2way is located in Beacon, NY down a sidestreet. When entering there really isn't much to say about it. It is a pretty non-descript location with non-descript ambiance. We noticed some huge trees that were in the middle of the taproom and a cozy corner with some lounge chairs and a few couches. The beer selection left a lot to be desired and we settled on some Farmhouse Ales. Maybe we had high expectations due to the last two stops (Newburgh Brewing, and North River) but we couldn't help but feel let down. We quickly finished our beers and headed home.

Final Thoughts

D: 1.5/5 - I didn't like this place. The beer I had was not good. There wasn't anything special about this place and I don't think I'd go back.

 K: 2/5 - Honestly, nothing was necessarily bad about this place. It was just very boring and nothing really made it stand out. I thought the beer was okay at best and the vibe in there was just different. Probably won't be visiting this stop again.

The Stats  Location: Bridgeport, CT History: Opening in August 2016, this brewery has seen much success already. Fairfield Craft Ales

The Stats  Location:  Stratford, C T History: Fairfield Craft Ales opened in early July 2016 with a little help from the crowd-funding site, KickStarter. Mike and Joe have more than 25 years of brewing experience and have always been music lovers. So, it just makes sense that their dream was to open a brewery that serves beer inspired by music.  Food Service: No, they only have some chips and soda. This brewery is a stark contrast from its neighbor, Two Roads, just 3 minutes down the road. The small taproom gives this brewery a home-y feel. The first time we visited, we were greeted similarly to the locals on Cheers . We felt welcomed immediately and this time was no different. Although, FCA and Two Roads are very different structurally, they do have one thing in common: they brew good beer.

The Stats  Location:  Scot tsdale, AZ History: Goldwater Brewing Co. is a family owned and opera ted venture with over 30+ years of brewing experience. Pushing the limits of b eer making, Goldwater boasts over 14 beers to choose from . Goldwater opened less than 3 years ago and has two tasting rooms. A main tasting room and a basement tasting room reserved for cask ales only open on Satur days. There were spaces at the bar that were open but it was crowded for the s mall space.
