The Stats  Location: Scot tsdale, AZ History: Founded in 1996 near Chicago by brothers Jim and Jason Ebel, Two Brothers Brewing Company produces a wide variety of beers as well as homebrewing supplies. They have opened a number of breweries across Illinois and one location in Scottsdale, AZ. They have also begun to roast small batch coffee starting in 2012.  Food Service:   Yes, Two Brothers provides a full restaurant menu with bar snacks and burgers. We had the truffle fries, the short rib quesadilla, and the cheese curds. Everything was very delicious! The Stats  Location:  Yonkers, NY History: Yonkers Brew ing Co. was established in 2010 with two friends who just wanted to brew "the sweet nectar [they] enjoy ." Their goal is for the brewery to "reflect how they see their hometown and be a place where the community can come together in a lively environment to celebrate what [Yonkers] has to offer." Food Service: Yes, this visit we had the Chicken Tenders breaded in corn flakes and served with a BBQ sauce. It was delicious although we both agreed the breading as well as the sauce needed something. The Stats  Location: Waterbury, CT History:   In 2011, Pies and Pints opened in a historic building in downtown Waterbury.  Food Service: Yes, menu filled with standard pub fare and pizza. You are forced to find street parking unless there was a lot or a garage somewhere we missed but that seems doubtful. Walking in , we f irst used the wrong door since there weren't a lot of signage directing us to the correct entrance. When we finally entered we noticed that there is a restaurant si de and a bar side, we quickly took the road more traveled and chose the bar side which consisted of a f ew other groups who had just seemed to have finished a local 5K. The Stats  Location:  Oxford, CT History: The full name of this brewery is Ordinem Ecentrici Coctores which translates to "The Order of the Eccentric Boilers." This brewery prides itself on taking influences of lost brewing tradition from across Europe and combining them with modern techniques. OEC strictly brews sour beers. They opened their doors in June 2014.  Food Service: Light snacks. Soft, warm pretzels and bags of potato chips are available. On bottle release or festival days food trucks are on-site. Otherwise is BYOF. It's also important to note that in Spring 2016, they opened a bakery on premise. The Stats  Location: Elmsford, NY History: Captain Lawrence started out in an empty warehouse in Pleasantville but when they outgrew their space, the brewery opened up in its current space in Elmsford in February 2012. They now have a bottling line and more space to house their oak barrels used to make their delicious sour ales.  Food Service: Yes, including snacks and sandwiches. On our trip we tried the "Big Ass Pretzel." Most pretzels have far too much salt, instead of salt this pretzel has poppy seeds and sesame seeds which were fantastic. It was served with a beer cheese dip as well as two types of mustard (dijon and stone ground.) It the scene of our second date and the grounds for starting this whole beer-venture together. Therefore, it will always have a special place in both our hearts and our livers....
